What is ReadyM?

ReadyM is a unified platform that transforms beloved single-player games into community-driven creative multiplayer sandboxes. We're breaking down the walled gardens of big UGC-based games by bringing that same creative freedom to established games players already love. Founded by veteran modders with two decades of grassroots multiplayer modding experience, ReadyM provides the networking infrastructure, creator tools, and community features that let players flow across different games, discovering and building worlds in whatever titles resonate with them. WukongMP is ReadyM's first game integration, with more popular titles coming to the platform soon.

What is WukongMP?

WukongMP is ReadyM's multiplayer mod for Black Myth: Wukong. Our goal is to bring true multiplayer experiences to a world originally designed for single-player gameplay. This isn't just a simple co-op patch. WukongMP supports shared PvP sessions, player synchronization, cooperative fights, and expanding multiplayer features over time. We were inspired by the world, combat, and atmosphere created by the Black Myth: Wukong developers, and this mod is our way of sharing that experience in a new form: together with friends and the community. You access WukongMP through the ReadyM Launcher, which we continuously develop and improve.

Do I need to own a copy of Black Myth: Wukong?

Yes, WukongMP requires a legal copy of Black Myth: Wukong. Right now, the most stable and fully supported versions are Steam, HeyBox and Epic Games Store. We're working on supporting additional platforms in the future.

What kind of multiplayer experiences can I create with WukongMP?

The possibilities are endless. With WukongMP, communities and server owners can create cooperative adventures where players team up to conquer challenges, competitive multiplayer modes with custom rules, and entirely new story-driven experiences. WukongMP is being developed as a foundation for creator-driven multiplayer, giving you tools to bring your multiplayer vision to life inside Black Myth: Wukong. Is ReadyM/WukongMP free to use?

Yes. WukongMP is completely free for players because we want Black Myth: Wukong multiplayer to be accessible to everyone. ReadyM is building the platform infrastructure that empowers communities to create, not charging players for access. Over time, we'll introduce tools that help server owners and creators build their communities through optional supporter features, but core multiplayer access will remain free.

Can I monetize my WukongMP server?

Not yet. Eventually, ReadyM will provide built-in tools helping server owners sustain their communities and reward creators. Depending on the server and community, this can include optional subscriptions, cosmetic items, and other community-supported funding options. Monetization helps keep community servers running long-term and supports the creators building unique experiences.

Do you have servers in mainland China?

We are currently preparing a big update regarding dedicated server presence in mainland China, with the help of our partner. For now, we're actively improving the multiplayer experience for players in China by collaborating with game booster services (UU, Qiyou, Heybox) and providing mainland China optimized interconnect in Shenzhen.

Can WukongMP work with other single-player mods?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on what the other mod changes are. Because multiplayer requires changes to game logic and synchronization, some mods may conflict with WukongMP and cause bugs, crashes, or instability. We're working on improving compatibility and supporting the community with clearer guidelines over time.

What's next for ReadyM? Are you planning multiplayer for other games?

Absolutely. ReadyM is not just a mod for one game. We're building universal multiplayer infrastructure that works across titles. WukongMP is the first showcase and a proof that this approach works. How do WukongMP servers work?

WukongMP (PvP/co-op) now runs on our multiplayer servers hosted through the ReadyM platform. In the future, server owners would create custom rulesets, game modes, and unique multiplayer experiences. ReadyM provides the infrastructure making hosting and joining servers as smooth as possible.

Will WukongMP be available on consoles?

Right now, WukongMP is supported on PC versions of Black Myth: Wukong, including Steam, HeyBox and Epic Games Store. Console support isn't available at this time, but we're exploring future platform possibilities as ReadyM expands.

Can I host my own WukongMP multiplayer server?

Soon. ReadyM is developing tools allowing server owners to host and manage their own WukongMP community servers. Our goal is empowering creators to run persistent worlds, cooperative adventures, competitive arenas, and more. The upcoming SDK release will provide comprehensive tooling for building custom multiplayer experiences.

Will my skills and communities transfer to other ReadyM games?
